The classic follows Bruce Willis' John McClane, a New York cop who attempts to reconnect with his estranged wife at a Los Angeles corporate Christmas party only for it to be taken over by Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman) and his band of thugs. Though one of the greatest action movies of all time, the best Die Hard quotes also highlight its superb screenplay.
