I Still Love You was released on February 12, 2020, on Netflix. Ī film adaptation of the book titled To All the Boys: P.S. It is the sequel to the novel To All the Boys I've Loved Before, released on April 15, 2014, and was followed by a third installment, Always and Forever, Lara Jean, released on May 2, 2017. I Still Love You is a 2015 young adult romance novel by American author Jenny Han, first published by Simon & Schuster and released on May 26, 2015. I guess my only real complaint about this book was that it was too short and ended too soon.P.S. Kitty also makes some great appearances in this sequel, and I fell even more in love with her. I liked reading about the relationship between Margot and Lara Jean, and being about to see the way they support each other. We get to see more of Margot in this book because she’s home for the holidays. I was torn between the two boys because I was rooting for Peter and Lara Jean, but the second boy was just… perfect. I love how Jenny Han is able to create such great male love interests in her books. I also liked Lara Jean’s other love interest (I won’t mention his name and spoil you).
But we also got to further see what a good person he is, so I forgave him quite easily. At times, I was very frustrated with Peter and how he handled things with Lara Jean. I liked the way the story played out, though I do wish we could’ve seen more of Lara Jean and Peter together. Essentially, the themes that were explored in the first book were further delved into in this sequel. It’s a very quick and easy read about love and relationships, not only with a romantic partner but also with family.
Probably not more than To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, but it was still a highly enjoyable read. Love is never easy, but maybe that’s part of what makes it so amazing. In this charming and heartfelt sequel to the New York Times bestseller To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, we see first love through the eyes of the unforgettable Lara Jean. Can a girl be in love with two boys at once? When another boy from her past returns to her life, Lara Jean’s feelings for him return too. Now Lara Jean is more confused than ever. Lara Jean didn’t expect to really fall for Peter. If you haven’t read the first book, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, I’d suggest you check out my review of that book and pick it up first before moving on to PS.
